Learning in Partnership

A shared understanding of partnership and partnering skills is essential for our Labor Management Partnership to grow and change with the times. Through an integrated, on-the-job learning program, LMP Learning aims to make continuous, effective learning available to all unit-based team members, co-leads, sponsors and others who work in partnership at all levels of Kaiser Permanente. Our curriculum includes hands-on, interactive and environmental learning, and we will create opportunities to reinforce and apply learning, such as mentoring, social sharing and communities of practice.

Managers and labor leads stayed with us every step of the way. They had meetings with us. They kept asking us how they could help. If there was a barrier, if a schedule needed changing, they would work together to see that it got done.
